I have officially started my job as the webmaster of the Transportation and Logistics Department. Their site is getting updated to the school’s schema and backend which looks like this. They use software called Commonspot from a company called PaperThin. It’s web based, like Textpattern and is programmed in ColdFusion. The entire school is transforming all of their departments to use this backend. The T&L Department, especially, needed it. They were using Microsoft Word as their editor, creating pages and saving them with the “Web Page” option. It worked, but there are better options. I’m excited to watch the transition happen. And now I’m doing research on the Adobe Acrobat JS API for auto-submitting forms and a statistical database. I’m glad I love coding :)
